HI-SET® LJ -05341003

HI-SET® LJ modified food starch is primarily used in the confectionery industry. As a one-piece product, which may imply that it is a single, integrated solution for specific confectionery applications. HI-SET® LJ combines the features of thin-boiling and high amylose starches. Specifically formulated for the manufacture of jelly gum candies, indicating that it provides functionalities required in this particular type of confectionery. It offers  low hot viscosity. Despite having low hot viscosity, it provides the quick-setting benefits of high amylose. Unlike conventional high amylose-containing starches, HI-SET® LJ offers the confectioner a unique combination of low hot viscosity and quick-setting benefits.
